PORTRAIT RESEARCH: KING HENRY VIII

                                               Portrait research

The artist who created this portrait is Hans Holbein the younger. This painting is depicting a picture of King Henry viii during his 16th century rule. This piece of art was the northern renaissance style in which occurred in countries which were no influenced by Italy.

The main characteristics is to show how might y this king was during this time he ruled England, so the artist made it plain so it’s a classy. The picture is also depicting him as he is looking with all pride on his side.

This portrait is a self portrait of King Henry vii done by Hans Holbein.  This painting was famous because this painting was created during the English reformation in which the church of England broke a rule set by the pope.

This painting to me was very interesting because rather than doing the really famous painting, which every one is doing. I want to find one which can catch me eye like this one. This piece of art caught my eye as it’s showing a great king who was fighting for his country.

The historical significance In this painting is that it is representing a might king of England , who stood up for his country during the period he ruled.

The Mona Lisa is another portrait which is similar to this, but that painting is more complex to understand than this particular piece.

Overall I can observe that this painting was done great, and it is depicting a king who fought for the glory for his country. I can also conclude that   this art shows a lot of significance of the renaissance style of painting.

Today was the last day of art ubud.I took my bag up the lobby  , and once again had the marvelous breakfast. After breakfast we went to neka museum where we saw the most famous paintings in bali. While looking at the paintings, i reminded myself to appreciate what the artists has done because they were extremely patient working on their masterpieces.

After a trip to the neka museum , we were on our way to the airport. The frustrating thing was we were 2 n ' half hours earlier than the flight, but on a positive note; we checked in first and got better seats. The flight was delayed for a while which swinged my mood once again.
As we entered the flight, we all notices one thing. The 7th graders kept quiet the whole time, it was also a pretty decent flight.
As we landed back to my home town Jakarta,MY luggage came out the compartments first, which made me glad.

What an esp!!!!

P.S: Bus ride from airport to school , was the worst bus ride ever , since it took us ages to reach!!!
